The hotline is a service operated by the healthcare professionals at the KY Poison Control Center who can provide advice and answer questions.
The Radioactive Materials Program inspects and issues licenses to approximately 400 radioactive materials users in the fields of medicine, industry, research and academia. The program also assists with oversight of radioactive materials and waste transportation throughout the state.
The Kentucky Department for Public Health (DPH) is responsible for developing and operating state public health programs and activities for the citizens of Kentucky.
